iXnote is the context assistant that holds the people, projects and ideas in your head, and the connections between them, so you walk into any moment with the right context already in front of you. This release sharpens the three things that do the most for that: how well iXnote reads the context around you, how clearly you can see your cards in context on iPhone, and how easily you can bring everything you've already written into it.
FollowAlong reads your context better
FollowAlong listens to the conversation around you, on your device, and surfaces the cards that matter while you talk. In 2.2 it's noticeably better at knowing which ones fit the moment you're in.
FollowAlong now understands your graph. When it hears an unusual name or term, it checks what you already know and lands on the right card instead of a near miss. So the transcription is more accurate, and the cards it puts in front of you are the ones that actually belong to the conversation, not a rough guess. The more context you've built, the better it gets.
As always, this happens entirely on your device. Nothing you say is recorded or sent to a server. Speech becomes text as it's heard, and the audio is let go.
See your cards in context, on iPhone
The graph is where your context lives. Tap any card and the people and projects around it appear at once, each one in the context of the others. In 2.2, that full view comes to iPhone.
A new Graph tab puts your cards and their connections on iPhone in any orientation, portrait or landscape. Scroll across the columns to follow a thread anywhere in your graph, the same way you would on iPad or Mac. No rotating, no hunting, your whole context in your pocket. It's free for everyone.
Bring your context with you
You've probably been building knowledge somewhere else for years. Now you can bring it with you, and see it in context.
iXnote Pro can import from the tools you already use:
- Obsidian and Markdown vaults, with the links between your notes kept as connections
- Mind maps from XMind and FreeMind, with branches kept as connections
- OPML outlines from other apps
- CSV spreadsheets
Your notes arrive as connected cards, each one in the context of the others, ready to explore. Each import lands in its own category, so you can review everything that came in at a glance, and remove it in one step if it isn't what you wanted. Imports always add to your cards, they never replace what you already have.
And more
- Cleaner, more consistent display settings, now tuned per device, so the graph reads clearly whether you're on a phone or a large screen.
- The usual round of polish and reliability fixes across iPhone, iPad and Mac.
iXnote keeps your cards on your devices and in your private iCloud, end-to-end encrypted. We never see your data, because it never touches our servers.
Update from the App Store, and become a better thinker, not a better note taker.
